DATA DELETION POLICY

1. How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your account directly from the application:
Go to Archive → Settings → Delete Account.
Follow the confirmation steps provided in the application.
Deleting your account will result in the deletion of the data associated with it, except for data that must be temporarily retained for any of the reasons set out in this Policy.
2. What Happens When You Delete Your Account
When you confirm the deletion of your account, MIIIR begins the process of deleting the personal data associated with it, without prejudice to any data that must be temporarily retained for the reasons set out in this Policy.
This generally includes profile data, photographs, test answers and results, and other information associated with the account.
Certain data or content may be subject to specific deletion periods or may be temporarily retained where justified by legal or security reasons or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, in accordance with this Policy and the Privacy Policy.
3. Chats and Messages
Existing chats are not deleted immediately when a user deletes their account.
For a period of 3 days, the other participants may continue to access the conversation history in read-only mode. During this period, no new messages may be sent, and a notice will be displayed indicating that the account has been deleted and that the chat will be deleted.
After the 3-day period, the chat will be automatically and permanently deleted, including all associated messages, photographs and audio files, and will no longer appear in the other user's conversation list.
4. Data That May Be Retained in Certain Circumstances
MIIIR may retain certain data after an account has been deleted where necessary to:
comply with a legal obligation;
handle or defend legal claims;
prevent, investigate or establish fraud, abuse or infringements;
manage reports, moderation measures or sanctions related to community safety;
retain information relating to purchases or subscriptions for the periods required or permitted by applicable law.
Data retained for these purposes will be limited to what is necessary and will not be used for purposes incompatible with the reason justifying its retention.
Once the reason justifying its retention no longer applies, the data will be deleted in accordance with the retention periods and criteria established in the Privacy Policy.
5. Backups
MIIIR does not currently maintain independent automatic backups of its production database.
6. Account Deletion Without Access to the Application
If you cannot access your account to use the deletion function available in MIIIR, you can request its deletion by contacting:
Whenever possible, the request should be sent from the email address associated with the account.
If there are reasonable doubts about the identity of the person making the request, MIIIR may request only the additional information necessary to verify their identity before deleting the account.
